To help promote awareness of any possible health problems we will be holding a Heart Testing Session with veterinary cardiologist Dave Fisher at our Championship Show on Saturday 1st April. The show is held at The Sports Connexion, Ryton on Dunsmore.
Whilst many people entering their Whippets at the show will take advantage of this opportunity, we are keen to extend an invitation to any non-showing Whippet owners in the area who would like to have their dogs tested for peace of mind. This isn’t just your local vet doing a stethoscope check at booster time but an in-depth assessment by one of the UK’s top veterinary cardiologists.
Data from all the tests is processed anonymously to monitor the health of our lovely breed. Please contact the Secretary to book a provisional place. The cost is £25.00.
