We’re sure many of you appreciate being able to watch the Dog and Bitch challenges via facebook livestream from Championship shows around the country. These are usually taken by Diana Bowsher but others also volunteer their time to do this for everyone’s benefit.
A recent policy change by facebook means that these videos are deleted from the owner’s page after just 30 days.
The Breed Council would like to retain these videos as a permanent record and so have created a YouTube channel called “UK Whippet Livestreams” where they will be stored for all time. Ideally, they would like to be able to livestream directly to YouTube too however, YouTube stipulates they need to have a minimum of 50 subscribers to the channel before they can do this. And that’s where you come in!
