The Whippet Club – Limited Member’s Show

The show was held on 14th January 2012.

The Judge of the Racing and Lure Coursing Classes was Mrs Elaine Walker.

Report

The Whippet Club’s January show is a timely event and many use it as a jump start into a fitness regime for the new season of competition.

It was a pleasant surprise to enter the Haddenham Village Hall and see a single large ring; replacing the usual two-ring style. The extra space outside the ring was appreciated equal to that inside; the racing/coursing exhibits certainly benefitted from the opportunity to stride out.

The JR Whippet Rescue stall displayed their many wares alongside Sue & Terry Ward’s goodies. There was also a fine selection of prizes in the raffle and the usual excellent selection of refreshments which all contributed to an enjoyable day.

Report by Kim Saxby.

Judges Critique in red for the class winner only.
