Minor Puppy Dog – NO ENTRIES


Puppy Dog

  1. Arkell’s Hijacked of Suriya. 9 month old brindle who is very appealing to the eye. Nice masculine head into good length of neck, nice pigmentation with dark eye, laid-back shoulder with good depth of brisket, neat underline and flowing topline which held well on the move. Strong hind quarters. Covers ground well on the move, just needs time to settle coming and going where he will benefit with a bigger ring. In very good condition overall.
  2. Middleton and Gilhooly’s Stormida Neon Tiger, 11 month old blue brindle with white trim. A nice male, smaller in frame to one and a little more up in the leg but has plenty of qualities. Masculine head with nice eye and ear placement, Good shoulder and depth of brisket, neat underline with arching topline into strong hindquarters. Nice tight feet and in good condition. Moved well coming and going, with nice side profile, didn’t cover as much ground as 1 with front reach. Will see the best of him when he fills out into his shape.

Junior Dog

  1. Yeates, Winter and Morland’s Zordean Maserati 16 month fawn male who is in very good condition and one I liked a lot. Neat balanced head nice lovely expression and pigmentation. Good length of neck. Neat laid-back shoulder into good leg and tight feet. Good depth of brisket, a flowing topline with a nice tuck up of underline. Strong hindquarters. A really nice shape overall, moves well coming and going, where a covers ground well and holds his topline nicely. One to keep an eye on and I’ll interest to see how he progresses as he pushed to top honours today.
  2. Webber’s Lolani Ride A Wild Trail JW 16 month old brindle who again is in very good condition overall, a really nice male who is slightly shorter in the loin than 1 but has lots of potential. Nice Masculine head with good length of neck and neat expression. Good leg with tight feet, strong shoulder and good depth of brisket. Arching topline and good tuck up of underline, strong hindquarters with allows him to push of his rear well. Sound coming and going and covers the ground well. A promising youngster, just preferred the outline of 1 today but has a bright future ahead of him.

Maiden Dog

  1. Ellis’ Citycroft Jules Rimet for Railfield 9 month brindle male with white trim, good size for his age, nice head, with nice expression, lovely length of neck into laid-back shoulder, nice feet, good depth of brisket and flowing topline which holds well on the move, neat underline and good hindquarters, producing a shapely outline overall. Moves well coming and going, would like to see slightly more reach in the front but overall, lots to like about this young male who is in good condition. BPD & RBPIS.

Special Beginners Dog

  1. Hughes and Jackson’s Penbriar Corruleam Sky, 19 month old blue brindle. He was much more settled in this class than he was in junior and performed much better. A really nice shape overall and I was pleased to see him go much better this time. Nice head into good length of neck, good shoulders and tight feet. Good depth of brisket. Flowing topline and neat underline with strong hindquarters. Move well coming and going and covers ground well, in really good condition and nice size for his age. If he can settle and maintain good performances then he has a bright future ahead of him.
  2. Saxby’s Sandspring Sea Master 19 month fawn male, masculine head into neck and strong shoulder, deep brisket, arching topline and shapely underline, strong hindquarters and well-conditioned all over, slightly shorter in the loin than 1 but does hold his topline nicely on the move. Moves nicely but slightly closer behind than and just preferred the overall movement of 1. However, a nice male who has plenty to offer.

Novice Dog

  1. Arkell’s Chikara Iz Doma Proninykh, 20 month old brindle, a very promising male and lots to like about him. Lovely head and expression, into flowing neck, good shoulder and leg with tight feet. Good depth of brisket into a neat topline and curvy underline. Strong in rear and in lovely condition. Moves well coming and going and covers the ground well on the move. Lovely outline on the stand and an eye catcher. If he continues to develop I believe her could go on to do very well and challenge the best as he offers lots of qualities.
  2. Kaseki’s Changane Ezra, 4 yr old fawn male. Nice shape and size overall. Masculine head, into good length of neck and good shoulder. Good depth of chest and neat topline. Moved okay coming and going, would have liked to have seen a little more reach in front but holds topline well. In good condition.

Undergraduate Dog

  1. Cahill and Timberlake’s Shine on Harvey Moon at Chipperlake, 2 yr old fawn and white male who I really liked, lovely male of nice proportions and size all over. Nice head into good length of neck. Well laid-back shoulder with neat leg and tight feet, with good spring of pastern. Good depth of brisket. Arching topline and curvy underline with strong hind quarters and lovely bend of stifle. Moves well coming and going, covers ground well and holds topline well on the move. In fantastic condition and a shapely whippet, has a promising future ahead.
  2. Mrs R Candler’s Maidenbower Maserati, 2 yr old male who is larger in frame than 1 but has a nice outline overall. Masculine head into good length of neck, strong shoulder and deep depth of chest, clean arching topline and curvy underline and strong hindquarters. Moves well coming and going, would like to see a little more reach in front but I think will benefit in a bigger ring, in very good condition overall.

Postgraduate Dog

  1. Tristam’s Supeta’s Just Do It, 19 month fawn and white parti who really took my eye from the start. What a fantastic young male he is and one that I think has a very bright future ahead of him. Lovely head into lovely length of neck. Good shoulder, nice tight feet and a good depth of brisket with plenty to fill in too as he continues to develop. Lovely arching topline and curvy underline, strong hindquarters and good bend of stifle, A beautiful outline and very expressive. For me he was the best moving dog of the day, sound coming and going and covers the ground with lovely reach in front. In fantastic condition all over and was a picture in the dog challenge where he excelled. A true whippet and one that I believe is good enough to go on to be a champion as he has all the qualities that his required in a whippet to achieve this. I wish him and his owners all the best and I will be watching closely. Best Dog and Best in Show.
  2. Barkas’ Citycroft Line Of Duty, 19 month fawn dog, bigger in frame and overall size than 1 but shows really well. Masculine head into good length of neck, strong shoulder with tight feet, deep depth of briskets with neat topline and underline, good spring of rib and strong hindquarters, he moves well coming and going and covers the ground well, in fantastic condition overall and excels in the ring.

Limit Dog

  1. Soffe’s Zoraden Macchiato JW 2 yr ol, red fawn and white with black mask. A lovely size overall and very pleasing to the eye. Lovey head with nice expression, and pigmentation. Lovely length of neck into well-laidback shoulders, tight feet. Good depth of brisket. Flowing topline and neat, underline, strong hindquarters with good bend of stifle. A lovely shape on the stand overall and a true whippet who is in excellent condition. Moves well coming and going and holds his topline well. He didn’t quite seem to have to zip in him on the move in the challenge today as I was just waiting for him to give a little more and I think he will benefit from a bigger ring. However, I do believe that he has all the qualities to succeed further and to be a future champion as his profile is beautiful and he’s all there in proportion. One I will watch closely.
  2. Nunneley’s Kelsmonk Kind of Magic, 5 yr old blue fawn of nice size and type. Masculine head into nice length of neck. Good shoulder, just slightly straight in the pasterns. Good depth of brisket with arching topline and neat underline with a shapely outline overall. Good hindquarters and nice bend of stifle. In really good condition all over and well-toned. Moves well coming and going and covers the ground well on the move.

Open Dog

  1. Byron’s Jasarat Gucci 4 yr old fawn and white parti. A lovely male and one I like a lot who is very pleasing to the eye in profile and has lots of qualities. Lovely masculine head with neat expression, fantastic length of neck into strong shoulder, nice tight feet, good depth of brisket, arching topline and neat underline with good spring of rib. Strong hindquarters with a good bend of stifle. I love his shape in profile overall and he is in super condition. Sound movement coming and going and covers the ground really well. A fantastic male and one who excels in the show ring.
  2. Woodcroft and Yacoby Wright’s Cobyco City Limits. 3 yr old fawn male of very good quality, lovely outline, and slightly deeper in the chest than 1. Masculine head with lovely expression. Good length of neck into well-laid shoulders. Deep chest with arching topline and neat underline, good spring of rib and plenty of length in the loin. Strong hindquarters and bend of stifle which allows him to move effortlessly. Moves well coming and going. In excellent condition and a really pleasing male overall.

Open Height Dog

  1. Trouton’s Runnel Run For Fun Fawn male of a nice size and type. Masculine head and neck into good shoulders. Good depth of brisket with good spring of rib. Curvy topline and neat underline. Good hindquarters with nice bend of stifle. Moved really well coming and going and covered the ground well.
  2. Perkin’s Southgrove Keep It Moving for Zeglynn 4 yr old fawn male. Nice head with neat expression. Good length of neck. Good shoulders and deep depth of brisket. Curvy outline and nice shape with neat arching topline. Strong quarters with good bend of stifle. In very good condition overall. Moves well coming and going, just preferred the reach of 1 today.

Special Open Racing Dog

Hoddinott’s Laguna Luna’s Lynx. Cream male whippet who is fit for purpose for this class. Nice head and neck into deep fill in forefront. Good spring of rib and curvy topline. Good bend of stifle. Moved okay out and back.


Special Open Lure Coursing Dog

  1. Yeates, Winter and Morland’s Zordean Maserati 16 month fawn male who is in very good condition and one I liked a lot. Neat balanced head nice lovely expression and pigmentation.   2. Webber’s Denimblue Willdo JW 2 yr old blue male with white markings. Masculine head into good length of neck. Strong shoulder with nice return of upper arm. Deep depth of chest and spring of rib. Arching topline and slightly shorter than 1 in the line. Strong hindquarters. He is in fantastic condition, well-toned and with a nice tight coat. Moves out and back well and covers ground well in profile.

Special Veteran (7-9 yrs)

  1. Mr M Whitehead’s Ch Citycroft High Society JW. Fawn male of top quality and a pleasure to have the opportunity to go over him as has produced some top quality whippets in the breed. A lovely dog all over and really pleasing to the eye. Very elegant but masculine. Lovely head and expression, good length of neck. Lovely forefront and rear assembly with good fill and depth of brisket, nice tight feet. Curvy topline and good spring of rib. Strong quarters and bend of stifle. Moves with ease coming and going and covers the ground well. BVD & BVIS.
  2. Barkas’ Jimanica Just Dreaming, 7 yr old red fawn and white male who is in very good condition. Lovely masculine head with nice dark expression, good length of neck into well-laid shoulders. Tight feet. Good depth of brisket with neat underline. Longer in the loin than 1. Good bend of stifle with strong quarters. Moves well coming and going and cover ground. Just preferred the reach of 1 in the front today and the overall outline of shape.

Special Veteran (10 yrs +)

  1. Webber’s Dark Wing, 10 yr old black male. I was really impressed with him, in fantastic condition and showed very well today. Neat head into lovely length of neck. Good shoulder, nice depth of brisket, good spring of rib, arching topline into good hindquarters with nice bend of stifle. Moved really well coming and going and covered the ground too. A super male for his age.
  2. Perkin’s Dejare Would You Believe at Zeglynn ShCm. Fawn male who is slightly bigger in frame than 1 overall. Masculine head and good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Good fill in front and good depth of brisket. Nice spring of rib and shapely topline. Nice bend of stifle to commend his overall shape. Moved well out and back and covered ground well.
