The Obreedience Competition Team, having qualified for the finals at Crufts, put up a very creditable show, and, but for one momentary slight lapse of concentration in the Heelwork exercise, could easily have been one of the Podium teams.
The final position for the team was a very creditable 5th, and two of the winning teams were “recognised” Obedience Dog teams, of which, of course, our beloved breed is not one.
It is very likely that three of the four members of the team are going to retire from it, and so the Obedience Section is organising an Audition Day on the 17th April. Please see the advertisement on our Obreedience page.
I should like to thank the members of our Obreedience team for their dedication to their practice sessions, and for attending the various Obedience Shows at which they competed to qualify for this year’s final at Crufts 2016.
Elsewhere you will be able to watch some video of our Obreedience team competing at Crufts 2016, and we hope to bring you some photographs of their efforts.
The Team comprised Helen Butcher (Captain), Lynn Griffiths, Sarah Connatty and Jessica Drewery.
!!! WELL DONE !!!
