The Northern PWRC was established in 1987. The track is at Coppull Moor near Chorley, Lancashire about 10 minutes from J27 on the M6. Racing takes place every Sunday from February untill October, over various distances from 50 yards to 240 yards if it is a bend. During the winter months trials are run on alternate Sundays and lure coursing on the intervening Sundays. Unless otherwise notified, club members meet at 1:00 PM. Advice on training and racing is always available from experienced members, and further information can be obtained from the secretary.

The Lancashire PWRC was formed in 2005 ~ all are welcome. Racing takes place every Sunday from 1:30 PM at Littleborough Rugby Ground, Rake Lane, Littleborough (behind Hollingworth Lake). Racing over 50 to 240 yards on both bend and straights, with a club handicap. Full facilities on site including toilets and licensed club house.
Directions: leave M62/J21 (Milnrow) / turn Left @ 1st roundabout / follow signs to Hollingworth Lake Country Park / with the lake on your right continue to a sharp left bend (large white pub in front of you) / turn immediately right to Rake Lane / continue to rugby club carpark.

The Heart of England PWRC was formally known as Linton PWRC. The club now race at a small village hall at Shuttington in Warwickshire where they have all the facilities of the hall. They race every Saturday from March to October, weather and number of dogs permitting. Racing starts at 2:30 prompt. The Heart of England are a small club with a few loyal members but everyone is welcome. If anyone wishes to come along, please phone Ann on Thursday before racing.

The Independent is a small club founded in 1990 and welcomes both beginners and experienced racegoers to their meetings which are held on Sundays starting at about 11:00 AM. Their season runs from March to November. You do not need to have raced whippets before as their Race Manager will be pleased to trial your dog and give advice.

The Scottish Pedigree Whippet Racing Club was founded in 1965. It can be found by exiting the M9 at Junction 10 near Stirling and following the signs for A84 Blair Drummond Safari Park and then turn right onto the Ochtertyre Road. The entrance gate to the field is 500m. on the left.
